I am going to a conference in a few weeks that has lots of stuff on early childhood as well as primary and it is awesome to see the children getting the opportunities when they are so young. You might be keen to look at my class blogs if you want to get some ideas:
http://meadowbankreporters.blogspot.com
http://meadowbankroom18.blogspot.com

Mine is a Year 2 class (6 and 7 year olds) in Auckland, NZ.

Your little ones might like the movies we have made on the reporter blog - we illustrate our stories and then voice record them and make them into a movie.
I would love to know if you have a blog with children's work on it, or if you ever do please let me know.Marniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10168541916484489711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262225094761590530.post-42227045723807873062007-08-16T09:05:00.000-05:002007-08-16T09:05:00.000-05:00I am excited about this concept too. What a wonder...I am excited about this concept too. What a wonderful way for teachers to be able to share all the great ideas they have:)

With that in mind, Michele and I have been working on a class project on gender differences, looking at different strategies to use in the classroom for boys and girls based on different learning styles. I am particularly interested in ways teachers are incorporating music and movement into other activities or routines. Anyone have a great idea to share?

PeggyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262225094761590530.post-55997176409919476662007-08-10T14:05:00.000-05:002007-08-10T14:05:00.000-05:00Dean,What a wonderful surprise to see a post from ...Dean,
What a wonderful surprise to see a post from you! As I mentioned the other day, it's not always easy to get out after school to make it to all the meetings. It's not to say that it's less of a priority, just timing. This way, we can all have a voice in matters that are of interest/concern. Thanks again!

CindyCindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15127273859427000670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262225094761590530.post-28076968477499664962007-08-03T09:04:00.000-05:002007-08-03T09:04:00.000-05:00You rock, Cindy!
